This week, Alibaba Cloud’s QwQ-32B continues to dominate the open-source AI landscape with top-tier integrations and benchmark success. Meanwhile, Accio, Alibaba’s AI-powered B2B search engine, has surpassed 1 million users and introduced new features to support SMEs. Lastly, Unitree Robotics is taking its global expansion to the next level with a new store on AliExpress. Let’s dive into the key updates shaping these industries.
Leading AI Platform and Products Integrate Alibaba Cloud’s QwQ-32B
Since its release in early March, QwQ-32B, a high-performance compact reasoning model, has consistently topped the trending chart on HuggingFace, making it one of the most popular large models in the open-source community.
Global AI platform SambaNova Systems has announced that it now offers access to QwQ-32B through its cloud platform, SambaNova Cloud, with remarkably fast output speeds. Leading AI products, including SGlang, Ollama, CAMEL-AI, OpenReuter, SiliconCloud, Huggingchat, and ChatLLM, have also integrated QwQ-32B to enhance their capabilities. Thanks to its significantly reduced deployment costs, the QwQ-32B model can be efficiently deployed on consumer-grade hardware.

The model also secures the 5th position on LiveBench, a benchmark specifically designed for LLMs to address test set contamination and ensure objective evaluation. Notably, it is the only open-source model within the top 5, outperforming other leading closed-source models.

Since 2023, Alibaba Cloud has open-sourced over 200 AI models built on its two foundational models: the proprietary language model Qwen and the visual generation model Wan. These open-source models span a comprehensive range of sizes, from 0.5 billion to 110 billion parameters, and cover various modalities, including text, audio, image, and video, designed to support global developers and customers in addressing their diverse and industry-specific needs.
As of today, over 100,000 Qwen-based derivative models have been developed in the global open-source community HuggingFace. This surpasses the number of Meta’s Llama-based derivative models and highlights Qwen’s popularity as one of the world’s most widely adopted open-source models.
Alibaba’s AI-Powered B2B Search Engine Accio Hits 1 Million Users
Alibaba International Digital Commerce Group announced that Accio, its AI-driven B2B search engine, has surpassed 1 million users within five months. To further support SMEs, it has introduced two new AI-powered features—Business Research and Deep Search—to simplify market entry and global sourcing.
Built on Alibaba’s Qwen AI model, Accio provides multilingual capabilities and real-time market insights. Business Research automates data collection and trend tracking, helping SMEs quickly identify high-potential opportunities and generate ready-to-use business plans. Deep Search refines sourcing queries using industry-specific terms, ensuring relevant supplier matches while vetting for compliance and reliability.
A survey of 4,000 sourcing decision-makers across the US, UK, Germany, and France found that 64% plan to integrate AI into their strategies by 2025. With global trade expected to surpass $33 trillion in 2024, AI-powered tools like Accio are becoming essential for SMEs to stay competitive. Alibaba.com also integrates Accio’s capabilities to enhance sourcing for its 50 million users.

Unitree Robotics Expands Global Reach via AliExpress
Unitree Robotics, the company that gained widespread attention after its performance at the China Spring Festival Gala, has officially launched a store on AliExpress. The store features several of its robotic products, some of which are even marked with the “Big Save” billion-dollar subsidy label.
This move aligns with a broader trend among members of the so-called “Hangzhou Six Dragons”—a group of innovative tech companies from Hangzhou—leveraging AliExpress to reach international markets. Prior to Unitree, other successful launches, included the officially licensed “Black Myth: Wukong” game controller and Rokid AR glasses, which have already gained strong traction across multiple countries through the platform.
