If Your Fridge Could Talk…
8:00 p.m. PST…Next time you reach for that late-night yogurt, your refrigerator may have something to say about it. Thanks to Alibaba’s operating system, YunOS, we’ve entered an era of fridges that go beyond the ubiquitous “smart” designation. Your icebox can now offer up personalized recipe recommendations and customized dietary advice. In the video below, you’ll see how YunOS-powered devices can do everything from inventorying their own contents to advising you what you’re short on and need to order. They can then even lodge and pay for the order, all without your having to raise anything more than a finger or your voice.
Taking a Virtual Spin in the YunOS Car
8:45 p.m. PST…There’s been a lot of talk this past year about taking the driver out of the car. The YunOS-powered car in the below video likes the driver just fine. In fact, it treats the driver like a king or queen, responding to voice commands, reminding you about those movie tickets you ordered, getting you to the theater on time and into a parking spot it reserved before you arrive –and paying automatically as you leave.

This new tech from Ant Financial, an affiliate company of Alibaba Group, scans hundreds of “feature points” on your face to make payments even more convenient and secure. All you have to do is flash those pearly whites.
