Ivy Yu joined the Alizila team as a content producer in 2021. Previously, she was a reporter at CGTN in Beijing where she wrote feature stories on tech and socioeconomics in China. Prior to her journalism career, she studied international relations at New York University and Beijing Foreign Studies University. She is now based at Alibaba headquarters in Hangzhou, China.

Karen Zhang

Karen Zhang joined the Alizila team as a content producer in 2024. Previously, she worked as a reporter in Hong Kong for publications such as SCMP and HK01, covering technology, business, the environment and more. She holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Hong Kong and is currently based at Alibaba Cloud headquarters in Hangzhou, China.

Selina Zhang joined Alibaba Group in 2018 as Assistant to CEO and Chairman. Previously, she built a solid media career, working with The Economic Observer and Bloomberg Businessweek, and serving as the New York correspondent for China Business Weekly. She also co-founded the podcast EAST TO WEST, repeatedly featured by Apple Podcasts. With natural curiosity, she maintains a sense of wonder about the world.
