Alibaba.com’s Alibaba Guaranteed Smooths Sourcing for SMEs
Alibaba.com has launched its Alibaba Guaranteed initiative to help more than 48 million small and medium-sized enterprises on the platform develop flexible and reliable supply chains.
Through Alibaba Guaranteed, buyers will be able to source with added confidence. The service offers products at fixed prices with shipping fees included, promises dispatch of goods within 72 hours and guarantees delivery by the expected date.
“Global sourcing can be a complex process with many moving parts, but Alibaba Guaranteed can help SMEs navigate it with greater ease,” said Kuo Zhang, President of Alibaba.com.
Products sourced through Alibaba Guaranteed will be fulfilled by Alibaba.com, providing buyers with order security. Additionally, the platform handles finance, such as escrow and payment terms, and after-sales services.
Buyers can also take advantage of after-sales services, such as quick money back for order issues and free local returns for defects.
Freshippo Launches Private Label at North American Supermarkets, Eyes Global Expansion
On Thursday, Freshippo rolled out a selection of its private label products at 99 Ranch Market, the largest Chinese supermarket chain in the U.S., as well as online via online Asian goods retailer Yamibuy.
The launch marks the first time a domestic Chinese grocery story has exported their self-branded products overseas at a large scale.

Alibaba Group recently cut the ribbon on its international headquarters in Hangzhou, where sustainable water systems, protected habitats and workspaces exist side by side.
